3 year anniversary!

11th December 2008 marks our 3 yr anniversary. Yippie.... though we din really celebrate, i feel very blessed and still as happy. The feeling is still very much the same as 3 yrs ago with the extra feeling of being married for 20 over yrs. Hahaha.... Yup "lao fu lao qi". Alot of you guys have been asking me when i'm getting married. Here's my answer.... i'm not ready!!hahaha... not tat i dun love baby enuff to marry him:

Here's my case:
1) I'm not financially stable - currently in rehab trying to quit shopping. Heee...
2) Career - wanna build up a successful career 1st
3) No kids @ the meantime - obviously no $$(refer to point 1) and not time and scared of pain
and lastly the most important factor:
4) I'm YOUNG!! - come on, i'm only 23yrs old, forever young is my moto.

Yup, so guys.... not tat fast. Give us another few yrs before asking again. Or perhaps, dun ask, we will announce when everything is settled ya. Hee.... Ok here comes all the pictures... with no explanations. Lazy to do a write up - the main point is, u can see we r really HAPPY. Yeah...

A confession of a shopaholic

Gosh.... i've been spending alot and i really mean ALOT!! I just can't stop.... its really like some drug addict. I've been tryin to cut down but haiz.... with this bad economy, how can i just sit there and not help to boost the market rite? Wahahaha... ok, i know its all bull shit. I've got to really cut down on my spending else i'll be broke real soon.

On a happy note.... below are some of the stuff tat i've conquered during the past 1 week... i dun dare even dare to show u guys wad i've conquered for the last 1 mth as i guess it may take up 2 entries long. Hee....

Recently i'm really into online shopping.... tracking every single collection from different blogshop. And i've come to realise tat somehow all these blogshops are gettin stuff fr similar supplier. So now, it jus abt price competition.... checkin hw much the similar stuff is sold on each blogshop. After much comparison, i tot i've gotten a gd deal for a skirt tat i've bgt recently.... unfortunately, i found another blogshop the very next day to see the skirt i bgt slashed at half the price. Wah.... really damned DUI!! I've so far bgt 1 top, 1 set of clothes (top plus bottom), a dress and a bag. The top i've bgt does differ in quality fr the webbie when i received it and most of all.... i'm utterly disappointed with a bag i bought in a blogshop known as myevilwink. When i received the bag.... it was not in its best condition, which simply means 2nd hand. And when i emailed the seller, she simply said tat she stated in the website tat it was a 2nd hand product which i simply din c anythin as such b4!! If i would have known.... i wouldn't even buy it!! Super PISS!! Nonetheless, i'm happy with the overall purchases i've gotten from the webbie... especially the Miu Miu inspired satin dress... Simply look gorgeous.. C below. The other 2 dresses which i bgt in TPY at a closing down sale. They look extremely nice lo..... shall take some pics when i wear them. WOOO.....

The next rave i was in was.... BB CREAM!! Yesh, maybe i was abit slow to know abt this thing BUT.... at least i knew it once Watson n Guardian brought it in! I heard all about those Korean star, Taiwan Nu Ren Wo Zui Da and even forums discussing about it. As a beauty addict, how could i not lay my hands on one of these BB Creams? Hahaha.... So i've gotten myself 1 of the BBCream which is called "About U" and another one which is highly recommended by Zoe was the BRTC Gold Caviar BB Cream. I'm currently using About U which i think no one has actually heard of this brand before coz i can't find it on the web. It is selling in Pink Beauty at about $38.90 if i'm not wrong. The texture is smooth, not thick, has good coverage, medium oil control and one last thing tat i wanna mention tat i loved abt this BB Cream is tat.... it smells GREAT!! I love the smell of it when i apply, makes u wanna squeeze out more of it and apply all over yr skin. The downside of this pdt would most probably be tat... it does not really whitens yr skin or reduces blemish, it simply mask it only. Perhaps i haven't tried long enuff to see the effect, nonetheless. i would still recommend this pdt for those who do not want to splurge to much for the 1st try. I mean, its still BBCream and its oso from Korea - it suits my complicated skin type which is combination sensitive. What else can go worse den tat? At least its not too oily for me at the end of the day like wad ZA foundation does.

And as for the BRTC one which i jus bgt and cost a freaking $55, i really pray hard it is as wad Zoe and this forum says http://shirleysphotojournal.wordpress.com/2008/07/31/bb-cream-review/ - simply the BEST BB CREAM. Gonna open up and try.... will give u guys the verdict on a later date.

For the past few months... i can feel my skin is slowly evolving and its becoming drier day by day. My body hasn't been able to retain much water and i've been goin loo so often even when i drink a little. With that, my skin is gettin dehydrated and it worsen since i'm stayin in an air conditioned place everyday. I've finally found the best serum tat i've ever gotten for my senstive skin.... tat is Hyaluronic acid From the Face Shop. I've gotten alot of stuff from Face shop and non suited me. Its either i'll have outbreaks or face gettin v oily after using the pdts or there's simply no effect after usage. However, for the Hyalyronic acid, its like instant effect!! After applying it, it simply gets absorbed very fast and my skin feels tender and not as scaly as before. The best part is tat this pdt is suitable for sensitive skin!! Which means... its not very rich for sensitive skin and yet it maximize the amount of water retention!! Yippie....

A Night At Timbre

PART I

I met up with my JC frenz at Timbre last weekend. I muz say its rather enjoyable... think the main factor was the ambience over there. There's music all night long and thus, there won't be any awkward silence for anyone. Anyhow, the limelight was on Zequan that night. He went up on stage (was sabohed by us) to sing not a song or two but THREE songs in all. Woo.... he proven impressive tat night as he was invited to sing 2 other songs by the host that night. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to upload the video - too big size. Stupid blogspot has its limitations!

Another thing u may wonder, why there is a part I. Hee..... It's becoz u will realise my hairstyle changed from Part I to II. Coz i went for a haircut. Din really like my new haircut though....looks abit toot i feel. Hahaha.... Nonetheless, i am very happy to get rid of those grass of mine!

Buffet @ East Coast

Buffet @ East coast..... Yippie! It was a Sunday morning and we've made a reservation earlier for an ala carte buffet at east coast restaurant (The Seafood International buffet). They have lotsa variety... abt 40 varieties. However the quantity for each dish is like a mouthful only. So the main point is to try as many variety as possible!! Its quite affordable - below $30 per pax, has a nice environment(indoor and outdoor sitting) and most importantly, the food is YUMMY!! Recommended for families who wants cheap n good food! Not so much for couples unless u really can eat alot! Hahaha....

The fish spa was very interesting, however, after i went to the one at Bugis street, i realise this one i had was no kick at all. The one at bugis street are like piranas.... they come in swams and once yr feet are in the water, u basically can't see them anymore. Hahaha.... the fishes are super hungry looking lo. So scary at the beginning... but after sometime, its jus a ticklish feel. Go try, there's discount for students too!!

The Motor show 2008

Me and baby went to the Motor show held at Suntec last month. Muz say... we are really disappointed this time round. Compared to last year's Motor show, the variety of cars were down by half, eye catching ones... 1 or 2 only and not mentioning the show gals, half strength, half the pretty but double the sluttness!! Haha.... At least that was wad i think, perhaps u can see from yourself the pictures below.

As usual, my main objective of goin to Motor show is just to take pictures of nice cars and show gals (as u can see, i mention "nice" cars but not "pretty" show gals.) Hee... But for the ah pek out there, its obvious wad was their objectives. Perhaps they should station ppl outside to do a survey of which cars did the ah pek like in the motorshow..... u won't be surprise to get answers like "eh, nv take note leh..", "er..... dunno, din observe", "oh, tat one lo...beside the lady who wears green one, aiya cannot rem wad model."

Mommy's 58th birthday

Today is Mama's birthday so me n baby decided to bring her for lunch at Jack's Place @ Altitude - The new makan place at hereen! And we'll be meeting my sis to walk ard Orchard before we head to buffet dinner @ Paramount!

The Paramount has the best dinner buffet i've ever eaten. Its a MUZ TRY MAN!! There's a wide variety of choice n there's even shark's fin, buddha jump over the wall, smoking duck, steam prawns, steam fish, fried fish, sashimi etc... Totally love it! And the price is reasonable for ala carte buffet. Gonna go again definitely!

Gaming Heaven

A few weeks back, i accompanied Baby to this game exhibition in Suntec. I am a gaming fan especially on PSP and NDS! I love all these IT gadgets... without them, life will be damned boring lo. Oh btw, they have this new thing for kids at Suntec entrance...... water ball! I even saw an auntie went in and kept falling. I couldn't stop laughing at the "brave" auntie who keeps trying to stand up and eventually fall with a big splash.

Upon stepping in to the exhibition hall, Baby quickly rush to his favourite gaming are - FIFA! Btw, he has actually completed most of the soccer games for PSP - when he is into a game, it is about completing it! Unlike me, i will play bit by bit so tat my enjoyment for this game will last. In fact, i din complete most of the games, to me, its abt tryin new games....to start a new game is always very exciting.

Shopping for labels?

Met Zoe a few weeks back for dinner to shop for Jacelyn's birthday prezzie. Zoe was looking at Agnes B pouch which cost about a few hundred bucks... and she said tat Jacelyn intended to buy a LV bag. At the back of my mind, i was thinking.... is it true tat once u join SIA as an air stewardess, its all about being fashionable, branded..... the Sex & The City look? I am ok with people purchasing branded goods.... but think abt it... do u like the brand tat gives a feelin of being high class? or do u really love the design?

I, myself can be fooled by all this "Brand" thingy. However, one thing i am sure is tat i am peniless. Heee..... so yep, no LV no wadever Chanel for me. Frankly speaking, at the meantime, i muz admit non of the Coach bag tat u c me wearing is real. You may realise i have a couple of coach bag and tat is becoz i love the design of coach and....most importantly.....its CHEAP. It can cost as cheap as $20 in China u know. I feel no shame in bringin them around! And the truth is.... not many people can differentiate what is real and what is not. As long as u bring it out with confident and look neat - ppl think its real. I mean.... come on, if an old auntie brings it out to market and wear lok kok clothes, even when her LV is real, no one cares u know. Hahaha....

Though i've told Zoe tat i wanted us to look like the Sex n the City ladies.... but tat does not purely me branded stuff. Its about the friendship! We may look good not in branded stuff too. If i am rich, i dun mind indulging in all these with the concept tat i buy it coz i like it and not by peer pressure (when u c someone hv it... u envy n wants something the same) or simply becoz its branded. I muz say tat some of those branded stuff really looks shitty in design to me.

Most of the clothes tat i bgt.... dun cost tat much too as u can see from the previous entry. Hey, but who knows and care when u can bring out the flavour! Hee... not tat i am thick skin la....(my skin is actually very thin in real life...tat's y can see my veins). Ok... outta point... ahahaah....

Anyway, tat's wad i feel about this whole thing about "LABELS". I'm not pin pointing anyone or my dear dear in this case. Everyone has different perspective of things so i can understand. No matter wad.... Zoe will always be my dear dear - yep, she bought something from Agnes B couple rings for Haojie's Birthday. It cost about 400 bucks..... but i tell u.... i muz agree tat its absolutely GORGEOUS!! Especially the female ring (which is obviously for herself..haha) which is in champagne gold. Drool.....

Unfortunately, after she bought the rings, her handphone got stolen. We only found out when we were about to order our dinner at Thai Express. The funny thing is, Zoe din feel sad about it, she jus feel... haiz... so mafan. Hahaha... i was the one who was feelin the ache as i jus lost mine too.

How could i resist temptation? Hee.... yep, everywhere... there is this big red word tat says "SALE"!! Unfortunately, i wasn't able to resist keeping those cash in my pockets again. Haiz... stupid sale! However, i muz say... its a really good bargain man! Hee.... it was all necessity... i mean hmmm.... needs? You know... there is this thin line between needs and wants and i am one blur cow tat doesn't know how to differentiate. Whatever i feel is a need.... my baby will feel tat is a want. You know... the only thing he feels is a "need" is FOOD!! Now you know why his **ahem size is like tat. Hee...

Firstly... the makeup below is not wad i bought. My dearest Zoe bought these clinique mascara and benefit powder for me from US. So happy to receive them!! According to Zoe, this mascara can really make yr lashes go VA VOOM! Haven't tried though..... but words from a professional muz be taken seriously. Hee.... Anyway, dear if you reading.... Thanks A MILLION!! MUACKKKSSS.... ***btw nice photoshop rite. Hee....

I bought this coz i've tried the sample.... and its real good. After using, my skin gets brighten and it feels softer too. And with any credit card, you can get one for one offer so i got it! However, i realise something queer about the price for the similar stuff (look at 2nd pic). Its the similar product with different price tag and the difference is about 10 bucks. Fortunate enuff, i was charge the lower price which means i bgt each at abt 16 bucks. Phew~ if i paid for the $45.90 one... i think i will go bang myself on the wall! So gals..... beware when u buy any products!

They are moving out of marina sq and thus there was a mega sale going on..... if you buy 1 item - 10%, 2 items - 20%.......... 5 items and abv, all pdts will be considered 50% off, on top of tat, there will be an additional 5% off for members! WOO HOO... this is one of the best sale face shop has ever organise man! So, i quickly called Zoe to ask her wad she wants and grab them!!

23rd Anniversary

Baby bought a beautiful card for me last anniversary which was Sept 11th......Yup, "auspicious date", thus, we din intend to celebrate this time round. However, baby got me a surprise pressie - a wallet tat i've been eyein for sometime. I know, some of you may think the wallet is kiddish... hey, but i am still a kid k! Hee.... @ least at heart lah. Yoz everyone! I'm gettin abit bz with work, shoppin, playing games as well as spendin some time with my dear friends. I've bgt lotsa stuff and i'm doing some photoshop before uploading it online. So gimmie another week k n i will put up some nice pics! >_<

Got alot of things on my mind that i wanna do...

1) facial - pimples r startin pop out already. Sianz...

2) do my hair - v embarrasin to say... but yesh, i haven't trim my hair since dunno hw long n my colors n perm r startin to die off. Thinking of droppin my dolly look for a cool/sexy one. But... can't bear leh. It took my almost 2 years to grow my hair til this length coz i keep trimmin. Haiz.. gotta get some advise from my hairdresser (who looks like the drummer from Wu Yue Tian..Woo hoo..)

3) pressie - Baby's bdae is coming... gotta thk of a perfect gift for him! Finding something he likes is a hedious task coz the only stuff tat he really likes is ME. Waahaha.... not i thick skin k, tat is wad he always say k. I am also thinking of making somethin for him....gotta brainstorm abit coz i haven't been creative nowadays.

4) handphone - if u r close to me, u would have know tat i lost my phone a month ago. Sadly, i am using an old samsung phone from my mom. Polyphonic ringtone...limited space... no camera... not mentionin mp3 lah. Ya, basically i use it to ans phone calls n receive sms. I din buy at tat time becoz i didn't know wad phone i wanted n, most importantly, the phones were all so expensive!! Stupid singtel was unable to let me jus a buy a bloody phone @ a recontract price. I mean come on man, how much can u lose from tat rite? I was already so sad to lost my phone n here they are tryin to rip extre $$ from me. So pissed... so die die oso try to stick to this shit phone until my next recontract date which is Oct lo.

Anyway, i did some browsing and is currently eyein at Samsung Omnia! Woo hooo... coz it looks like iphone, touch screen, hv functions tat i nid n its simply cheaper but not cheap k. Abt $600+ even when recontract. So still waitin...... hopin someone would buy for me. Hee...

5) part time job - still lookin for a part time/freelance job to support my own expenses. Unfortunately, my full time pay is not enuff to suffice all my expenses. It is a crazy life ever since i started working. Money in my bank is like in out in out.... n at the end of the day, i realise i din even manage to save at all. Ok.... i know is partly my fault.... my bf n mom has been naggin at me for spendin alot. Hmm... true enuff.... i spend money on alot of cheap stuff which at the end of the day, it simply means alot of money spend. Hahaha... This boils down to the next point n oso the most impt pt, tat is..........

6) SAVE MONEY!! - already promise Baby on this. Aftering mentioning pt 6), i realise all the abv points 1 - 4 can jus forget abt it. ARGGGGHHHH....... How come so POORR??? I have to admit tat i am a shopaholic n i would want to quit! I feel exactly like a smoker - ADDICTED! However, i am determine to quit n avoid all temptations so friends n foes... ples help me in this. We can go for simple lunches, dinners or activities - but no shopping or any expensive activities k!! Anyone has any lobang for part time/freelance job ples inform k.....my email is ~ cwlster@gmail.com. Movie Under the Stars - @ Fort Canning

Was having a fever for the past few weeks... and had a terrible headache today. BUT... i had an event today.. was suppose to go to Fort Canning for 2 movies preview and Baby already paid for the tickets!

My headache was so terrible that i called my sis with the intention to give her the tickets. Unfortunately or should i say... fortunately, my bro-in-law din wanna go and so, i have to pop a few more stronger paracetamol and carry on. I will feel the pinch if i dun go coz its not cheap.

My migrain gt better after poppin the pills, however, i am still not in my tip top condition. Nonetheless, i enjoyed the whole feel and experience of the so call picnic movie thingy. Our initial plans to buy lots of food there for a picnic didn't work out due to my stupid head. So we only had popcorns, green tea n 1 cups of soup thr the nite. To compensate all this, we had supper @ my house downstairs n watch live soccer matches. Hahaha...

Yo peeps..... you guys muz have realise by now that i've got alot of back logs and i am clearing them slowly. I am bloggin events that are happening quite sometime back, not live mode anymore - can't afford to do tat now coz 1stly, me got a full time job, and lastly, blogging is not my form of survival now (dun earn money out of it.....though i wish i can).

Yup, so bear with me.... unless i realise if there is someone/anyone who is reading or is interested in my life. OR OR..... i've my own online shop which i am dreamin n thinking of executing when i have enuff $$.

Ok anyway, back to the topic for today....went to farm mart the other day. Din even knoe there is somethin call farm mart in Spore. I never visited a farm in Spore before and was very excited when Baby told me about bringin me there. I muz say its not very very fantastic like real farm life kind of thing....But.... its a nice experience as they made an effort to make it feel like a simple farm-like environment with a few domestic animals. Surprisingly, there is "food court" located inside selling BBQ stuff. According to them, the food that they bbq are reared in Farm Mart - who cares rite? Nice can liao wad... orh, but i din try la. A Happy Entry

Today is simply a happy day for me. Firstly, boss is not in the office and everyone is slacking. Secondly, i've finally gotten a new job - pay, environment, boss, company (everything is definitely much much better den my so-called "temp" job). Gonna fire my stupid boss once he's back from HK - SURPRISE BOSS! Wahahaha..... No more shit from u!

Oh and lastly, i've finally gotten my hands on my 1st ever RiverIsland dress. GOSSHHHH.... i tell u, everytime i went in to RiverIsland.. i'll droollllllll and come out feelin haiz... when gt salary den buy. But everytime when my salary comes in, POOF... immediately go out again.

But this time round, Baby decided to get it for me as a congrats gift for my new job - actually, i hint him la but muz give him a good 'reason' to part his money ma. Heee....... So i decided to get this dress which initially i wanted to purchase it online. Luckily din buy online coz i tot i would obviously be a size 6 but...........who knows, UK size 6 so small one! Super tight for me at my big hips. So took one size bigger 8 which fits perfectly well. Only today tat i come to realise tat i am actually a size 8 not 6. Hahaha...

Nonetheless, i have decided to make my next purchase online as it seems much cheaper den from stall. Stall - S$ 149, online - GBP 44.99 + 3.95 delivery = GBP 48.94 after converting......
S$129 (Approx). Can save $20 bucks sia.

Below is my indulge.... it may look simple in the picture. But tell u..... the actual thing looks classy man! I absolutely love it! Its suitable for work and even in some cocktail party. WOoo.... I LOVE RIVER ISLAND....however...... I LOVE MY BF MORE!!! Love you lots lots baby....Hahahah...

11th July - Baby's Commencement Day

Today is Baby's big day... but he is simply not excited. Hahaha.... in fact, his parents and i are looking forward to his big day. Machiam like my kid graduating sia. I feel proud of Baby and i think he looks great in the gown (guess its becoz he is tall and big enuff, and another thing... the gown can cover his flabby tummy etc..). Hee...

Before the ceremony, we went for dinner at Sun Moon restaurant over at MPSH in NUS. The ambience is fantastic, with very beautiful sofa(something tat i feel is a MUZ have in my own home next time) and excellent customer service tat may go alittle overboard and tat u'll start to feel uncomfortable. Hahaha... if u experience it before, u will understand wad i mean. Baby requested a seat for me in his ceremony so tat i can be there to witness the boring ceremony. The only thing fun is the finale where the balloons fall right off from the ceiling... wah... like heaven sia.

My life, my guardian angel...

Gosh...... time flies, i'm turning 23 soon. That is the age of my ex when i first know him.....feels kinda old. Haiz... wad to do still have to go on wif life rite. I'll have to make sure that my life becomes more and more fufilling each year and hopefully my wadever dreams will come true.

In my life, i am the only one who has exceptionally more mishap than my friends (as far as i know). Single parent family (a problematic dad, a mom who is going through mid life crisis and a sis whom i dun really tok much too), sucky results( managed to scrap and struggled through the my primary, secondary, JC and even Uni), got outta of my 1st job within a few months bla bla bla.....

For those of you who didn't know, i am no longer working in the SUCKY company named BGC. Due to some unfortunate event which i can't be bothered to iterate in my blog. But one thing for sure.... i have the support of my friends and family members to get out of there and comfront the boss. What i do is justice and whatever he did was incorrigible.

The only thing i am blessed with is my boyfriend Shijie. He is not doubt the Superman in my heart (though he can't really fly and not tat toned..haha...). I guess god have decided to put a guardian angel beside me to allow him to guide me through and walk my tough life with me. This guardian angel has set foot in my life in the year 2004 when i entered NUS, however, i was blinded by something else then and did not take notice of him.

He joined the same club as i am NUS but we never got a chance to meet. We only managed to meet a year later....when we were being placed together for the same duty slot. We fell in love gradually and came together as an official couple on 11th December 2005.

Ever since then, this guardian angel faced a challenge of fighting my tough life with me and for me. He never gave up and never fail to encourage, motivate and spur me on. He is like my lucky star, the most precious thing i ever have. Without him, seriously... there will be no aim in life, life will be for the sake of living day after day. I work hard becoz both of us have a common goal and tat is the motivating factor. With this guardian angel, i have something to look forward to everyday. And i believe my luck have changed quite abit since the day he place his heart with mine.

Verdict:

This camera looks cute and appeals to the ladies especially (coz they have the pink series) and its slim and light. It has lotsa features to play around, big screen, nice buttons to press and takes beautiful pictures. However, if you are looking for a camera to take FANTASTICALLY good pictures in the night, i'm sorry, this is the not the best cam to reckon. The functions such as no flash, stabilizer (reduce shaking) and face detection doesn't seem to have much effect. Everytime when the no flash function is on, no matter how firm you hold the cam or even when the stabilizer is on, the photograph will be blurred. However, pictures taken at night, the foreground is rather clear just that the background will be blackened with/without any lightings.

On the whole, compared to my previous cam, this is of coz better lah. Hahaha.... But i absolutely love it coz it is just good enough for me - someone who does not depend on taking pictures for a living.

My new Samsung I8

Yeah! Finally manage to buy something from the IT Fair this time round - my new Samsung I8 digi cam. So happy....

I didn't have any intentions to buy anything initially until...... the guy at the Samsung digicam booth shouted...."Ladies and gentlemen, do not miss the exclusive offer at the Samsung booth and its only at this hour... we are having tis special promotion..." He continued to lure many people to stand around the booth awaiting for the announcement of the special promo. The original price of this camera was like $389 and at the back of my mind, i was thinking, most probably throw in a few more freebies of cut a few dollars more like a $350. And when i decided perhaps that was their gimmick and decided to walk away, he said...."Its only now, we are going at a price of $269 and givin out a free phone, 2 4G memory card and ....." I was like "OMG, its damned affordable lo.... for a 8.2 megapixel camera, somemore pink color!

Baby was wif me and was as tempted as me and so... we decided to approach the guy at the booth and after taking a look at the real thing. We decided to jus buy man! And of coz... Baby paid. Hee.....So nice rite! You know... usually he will ask me not to splurge my money on such stuff but this time, i guess he feel its worth it as well and given tat my old camera had already served my quite well... we decided to just let it RIP. Hee...

Its my 1st time going to MOS and is also the very 1st time i am joining Zoe and Jacelyn. At 1st, Zoe brought me to Luna (which she apparently didn't know is Cheena club) and of coz, i was the blur sotong who din know too. We were simply too shock when we 1st step in, to realise there were live bands singing chinese/cantonese/hokkien songs. OMG.....of coz, we din stay long. In fact, we left after tolerating the "noise" for the next 15mins.

Deep down in my heart, i was thinking...... "Damned, i think Zoe din know the place quite well too, gotta lead on tis i guess, or else it will be a darn boring nite!" So, i decided to take the lead in proceeding to MOS(which was my 1st time there as well). No choice la... as the elder one, muz take care of her.

As a "newbie" in this area, i led Zoe to the wrong queue - the VIP queue. When the guy requested for our VIP card, we were like "HUH??". Damned! We were caught! They found out we were "newbies" and decided to just close one eye and let us in. Super embarassing.. but... the guy was nice enuff to say that becoz we are pretty, thus he let us in. HAhahaa.... me & Zoe was like... "Okay, though i agree wif wad u say..." Hahaha...

Anyway, there was happenings in the club - we were being approached by serveral types of guys. Types meaning.... China guy, Ang Mo guy, Malay guy even Indian guy. Wa rao.... we so cosmopolitian i guess. Anyway, we rejected all la. Coz our main focus is each other on that day. Frankly speaking, non of the guys in the club nearly caught my eye..... except for the bartender whom i find quite cute. Other than that, that night was no eye candy for us.

Farewell Karasawa-San

Today, Zoe, me and the rest of the Cambridge staff (Victor and Chew Sieng) bid farewell to Karasawa (my ex Japanese boss) as he was posted back to Japan. After my work, we all met up at Brewerks to so-called have our "dinner"- me and zoe din eat coz paiseh. But we drank alot!!

Its such a socialising thing - at one split second, i felt like those Japanese escort! DAMNED!! Those stupid Japanese guy were rather funny when they try very hard to explain something to us in English. As much as they were entertaining us, me and zoe were also part of their entertainment sia. They like to say...."Japanese guy.... very dangerous....bla bla bla...." Until i couldn't take anymore, i replied..."We Spore gals, more dangerous, beware!!" You may not understand what was the issue, basically, they were trying to disturb me and Zoe.

After much drinking, everyone went abit bonkers. Even our panda bro - Victor went nuts! He kept ordering tubs and tubs of beer like it was free(which is actually so, coz we din have to pay). Worse, he force all of us to drink. Bished!!! And Karasawa, the main lead, was drown to his sorrow as he kept repeatedly askin me the same question over and over again like a senile old man. Hahahah.....

Hey sorry peeps..... so long din blog again. Ever since tat day when i blog everything sui sui liao, click publish, and an error page pop out. The next moment all my effort was gone to waste! I was so fustrated..... so din blog for awhile.

I've decided... not to blog our taiwan trip.... too much of hassle and too much time waitin to upload the pics and stuff. I will perhaps do a slideshow for it the next time. At the meantime, i'm gonna blog other stuff... Hee...

Yesh, Baby and i are already going into the 3rd yr of our relationship. Super fast sia! The next moment... POOFFF.... scully 3 kids liao. ARGHHHH... Hahaha.... anyway..

We went to Hokkaido Hotpot over at Paradiz centre to have our mini celebration. I would give a 4 out of 5 for service and food. The food is not too bad, it's all the packaging that is interesting. Thumbs up for the service man.... that makes it all so nice to eat there.

Hello people......the long awaited pictures are finally ready.....

We took some pictures @ Changi airport.....

Since there was no one to help us take pictures, we tried the old method - to squeeze our face together into the small frame...... 1st attempt....

failed.... coz Baby's eyes were closed...... so 2nd attempt....

also failed coz Baby's face was cropped, but..... heck la....... we continued our journey.. ahhaa.....

This is the new terminal 3 that is coming soon.....looks damn nice lo.

As i have mentioned before, one of them is Felicia Chin(whom i took a pic with and got 'accidentally' deleted by baby - sorry i have to mention again coz my heart aches whenever i say her name) and the other is this mysterious guy in CK cap. Hahaha..... will keep you guys in suspension of who he is til the next bloggin which will be @ Taipei. I know.... all of you are waiting for us to upload our Taiwan trip pictures. However, stupid Shijie lost some of our pictures (quite alot somemore... like a few days!!). ARGGHHHHHH..... he lost the very one pic i took with Felicia Chin. YES, Felicia Chin! We met her on our trip and i took a pic with her. And yep, all gone, becoz of Shijie's obessession with the stupid GSpace where he can upload stuff download stuff and upload again.......and POOF! ..... that's when he tot he uploaded all the pictures in GSpace (apparently he didn't due to some errors) and then he deleted the ones on his desktop.

ARGHHHHH.......... Irritated!! The last time when we went HK, he was "kind" enuff to convert all the videos we took to a lower quality one so that he cld save space on his com. But he didn't realise the videos converted were corrupted and he simply deleted the original one without checking.

POOF!!! Another memory flushed down the drain..... What can i say? He is suppose to have a nice intention to doing all this "shit" but.... things jus didn't go his way and i can't say anything about it (else he'll be angry). Damned.....(** he is squeezing my cheeks now as he saw wad i wrote) Wa rao..... no freedom of speech ah!!

Becoz of all these incidents, we shall have to rearrange all the stuff before uploading our pictures. So dear readers, please bear it for a while, as i try to get things back on track to save our dying blog...

My ex boss Steph invited me and Baby over to her house for a Christmas party! We had loads of fun gossiping and chit chatting session especially with my best girl frens Zoe and Wendy. And of coz, my boss did a great job in cooking - dunno why still haven't get married leh. Dun guys look ladies who can cook? Though she is abit dominating but she's not unreasonable.... she is jus another female who needs love. She's quite pretty for her age and is very capable in terms of taking care of her job and home. Hope she finds her love soon so that the next time when we visit her, which is supposedly Chinese New Year, we can collect Ang Bao from her. Hee..... All the best Steph!!!

Sorry peeps (if there is any)...... for the long awaited update of new entries. As the heading states, i dunno if i'm simply busy or lazy. Hahaha.... procrastinating u may say - abit true la. I was really busy ever since school reopens... with work.... with school.... with tonnes of projects and of coz project meetings, presentations, labs, tutorials, lectures, quizzes, test....all the shit u can imagine of a person with no life!

I finally uds wad it means when someone says, when u get too busy, u jus dun feel like doing anything - a form of escaping reality or jus simply drained. During those hectic schedules, my mom fell sick den next was me. Argghhhhh....................... Jus can't find enough (physical) energy to go on, even though i am still mentally capable.

Today is jus one of those rainy days @ home, feeling sleepy but have to study for exams which is about a week away. Can't believe it will all come to an end soon... all the schooling stuff. YEAH! I am really looking forward to working life, though i know reality rears its ugly head (world of politics, back stabbing bla bla bla ~ dunno why ppl gt so much time for this kind of thing). I jus feel tat studyin is such a chore for me, its jus like, i can't excel no matter hw hard i try. I am jus not cut out for academic stuff man! Its not like i'm super ready to work, but i believe there is smth out there for me den studyin. I hate making "fake frens" in school........ those frens u only smile when u r doin proj and sulk or avoid when u c them outside. However, the frens i made this sem..... particularly the class of GEM2000 - Real Estate of Appraisal were the best classmates i ever had. They were fun, nice, friendly and simply sweet.... no backstabbing whatsoever, and everyone helps anyone. This is the 1st time in NUS tat i felt there is love in uni!! Gonna miss them all......

If any GEM2ooo classmates happen to read my blog, i jus wanna say....................
u guys r the best throughout my 3 yrs in NUS. Gonna miss u....... Valerie, Jennifer, Mengdie, Ming Hwei, Mabel, Martin...... oops i rem only those ppl who sit near me...... the other side of the table have.... Khee Hong, Berlinda, (Fragrance garden - forget hw to spell yr name), Tian yang, Jeremy and more....... and finally my beloved African teacher Dr Kwame. My teacher is a black, yes he is.... he looks fierce and nasty and scary but after his tutorial session.....he is actually v nice guy who loves to debate his pts. Actually, he is the one who made the class rather united by forcing us to break the ice during the 1st lesson.

Anyway, the next time bloggin will be after exams le...... so looking forward to my taiwan trip in december...... Ahhhh super excited...

rundown on recent events

really long time since there was a post on this blog, exactly 19 days... some rundown on wat happened in foodcheese's lives

basically, nothing really much had happened in the past 3 weeks, except maybe school life is in full swing and we are both getting swamped by work. The only different thing might be that this is the only semester that i and baby didnt really have any common timings in school, the first since our courtship. Its hard to arrange cos she's working 2 days out of the week at Cambridge Reit, and i'm also busy with my financial services consultation work, and some other commitments here and there. Nonetheless, as long as there is a little tiny puny bit of time that we are both free, we will most probably be in each other's arms.

so it was on one of the times together that we actually got both of us a new gadget each --> the KOHJINSHA SA (kjs)!!!

As you all can see here, it is actually a super portable laptop. i will stop short of revealing the specs here, anyway this gadget is out-of-stock currently and new ones wun arrive in another month's time, so maybe those interested can go figure how to get its information during this time.
in the slide show, you can see how the size of the kjs matches up to our current laptops. and the final picture shows me with my happy purchase. From now on, there's no need to lug my laptop to school --> means lighter weight on my shoulders --> means happier ME!!

Sep 2 - Mom's BDae dinner

Dinner was @ canton wok along joo chiat road. Dishes were fabulously done i should say. If you want to taste quality restaurant food at an affordable price, dun miss this place. My mom loved the food here, and this treat naturally made her happy and i am saved a few days of nagging, and for this, i will like to thank my beloved baby for the contribution she made (really thank you, baby :))

You may wonder why the Avril Lavigne lyrics was posted up.... It's gotta to do with a very disappointing incident.

I was with Baby at a pub one night while we sat down and listen to live music, and it jus struck me to approach one of the singer on stage and ask if they needed singers. Since i was a little girl, i liked singing alot but was unable to pursue it - 1stly, it is not easy to be like Stefanie Sun(you need luck ya). 2ndly, financial difficulties does not allow one to pursue dreams and lastly, i am not very confident as i have no strong musical background which links to the 2nd reason. So... i approached the guy and showed my interest in singing, and he said he needed singers all the time. I was like GREAT, the opportunity is in front of me!! He asked me to pick 2 songs to sing in the pub next week and i agreed.

So.... i picked Crush my Jennifer Paige and of coz.... When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne's. I called and told him the 2 songs i've picked and he said ok. However, i wasn't very confident of singing without him screening first. Thus, i asked if he needed to screen me first and he said ok. I was told to sing over the phone for him. Obviously, i screwed up. Not that i was too nervous and forgt the lyrics - he said my pitch needs abit tuning. He said i have a nice voice and a wide range but have issues with pitching. Hmmmm......... actually, i thought i sang quite well though. Hahaha..... But yep, i am no professional to judge. However, i was rather proud of myself for being brave! WAY THE GO EVELYN!!! I just need professional guidance and teaching ya! hee....

Anyway, til i get financial freedom...... else i'll just put my singing passion aside. You know, in life, no money no tok. Sad reality..... But, i'm sure i am of certain standard though! I will JIAYOU!!

But, ya, bloody hell.... Got rejected for a couple of stuff this month! Dunno if i can continue to take any blow. But i believe all these stuff made me a braver girl. YEAH! I am sad by all these rejection but i know at the end of the day..... Baby Foo Foo will still be there for me.... its more than anything i could ask for. Thank you baby, i really appreciate your tolerance and patience towards by temperamental behaviour. I love you!!!

some pictures from the post national day fireworks. baby got herself 2 tickets for the post-national day fireworks celebration, held at the floating platform, courtesy of the company she is currently working at, cambrige reit. considering that we didnt managed to ballot the chance to watch the national day celebrations, this opportunity offers some sort of consolation for baby and me.

we went mof for dinner (yes! again... really people, u all should try the food there. its quite affordable for the quality, especially the desserts, baby love 'em) before gg for the fireworks show. We met Zoe, baby's fren and colleague at the venue, together with her boyfriend. There were some jokes like how her boyfriend called baby's name as 'evening' (maybe he got something wrong with his palate or tongue, but tats besides the point) The show lasted for a 'respectable' , or should i say measly 15 minutes (made up of a super long but uninteresting 5 minutes of light display, and i mean it literally - some flashing of spotlights here and there) after waiting like almost an hour... but it is the longest i have seen so far, so guess i cant complain much too.

Zoe and me intended to shop @ bugis street after work today. However, you know, as the chinese saying goes.... " 人算不如天算!", our tiger boss wants us to work OT!!! It all happened like this...

Boss: "Hey eve, i think i need you two to work late for me today leh, you have any date tonight?"
Me: giving the huh and sad look.... "Er.... yyaa...."
Boss: " Who? Boyfriend ah?"
Me: " No la...... er.... actually, its Zoe."
I was praying v hard tat she would let me go...
Boss: " Hahaha.... icic, aiya, we work la, later den we shop together lo."
Obviously, my prayers din work.
Me: " HUH? Shop together?"
Boss: " Why leh, i different market as you guys meh? Or dun wanna shop with me?"
Me: " No la, i tot u shop branded goods want ma. Me and zoe going bugis street leh, no prada, LV those kind lo."
Adding abit of smile so as to subside the situation and also hinting very explicitly that we din wanna shop with her. But, she dun get it......
Boss: " Eh, i dun shop branded stuff one la!" Then she started pointing her clothes from top to toe and said " This is from market, that is only 10 bucks and this one my fren give me one la."
What can i say man?
Me: " Ok lo.....heee"
Boss: " On ah, ok ah...... "

Yup, its becoz of my ok..... me and Zoe worked for her til about 8-9pm with empty stomachs!!! After all the shit work...... we finally went to eat...
